Hello Mosinee Hockey Families,
Myself and the Hockey Development Committee (HDC) are working on plans for our Summer Ice at the Greenheck Fieldhouse and our Summer Dryland Development Program (DDP). We will be working on drills that will improve our skaters speed, quickness and agility. The techniques and dryland drills that we will be working on can also be done at home. To increase enthusiasm for this, we are starting the Mosinee Puck Shooting Challenge. Mite - aged skaters can complete the challenge by shooting 5000 pucks and squirts through bantams can complete the challenge by shooting 10,000 pucks.
This is how it will work. Every year, starting June 1st until October 1st, any skater who shoots their number of pucks will receive a prize and earn their spot in the Mosinee Puck Shooting Club. Also after tryouts every year, all those that have completed the challenge, will compete for a grand prize in an end – of - summer shooting contest at our dryland area.
To get started, download the Puck Shooting Log to log progress. The completed form can be turned into me, Chad Ellis, when you are finished.
Also, we will have 4 dryland training sessions and 6 ice sessions this summer. Any skater who attends 8 out of 10 sessions will receive a cool T- Shirt for their efforts, compliments of the HDC. We hope to hand out a lot T-Shirts and shooting prizes at the end of the summer. Have a great summer and we will see you at the rink!

Hello Mosinee Hockey families,
We wanted to take a moment to inform everyone that the Mosinee Hockey Association will be renting ice at the Greenheck Fieldhouse for our second consecutive year this summer. The format will be the same as last year, power skating, stick handling, passing and fun small area games. We will also be holding dry land sessions at the Mosinee rink, all dates and times will be on the rink calendar, so please check it regularly.
All ICE sessions will be at Greenheck Field House. All DRYLAND sessions will be at the Mosinee Rec Center. To recoup our costs, each Greenheck skate will cost $10, paid at the beginning of each ice session.
PLEASE CLICK ON THE CAMPS & CLINICS TAB (along the left column) FOR CURRENT SCHEDULE.
We want to take this opportunity to thank all our coaches who will be volunteering their time to make this a success.
Thank you, hope to see you at the rink!
